Nobody said hosting the Emmys was easy ... on your rear end!
Heidi Klum got a nasty surprise when she was dropped - hard - during an unrehearsed bit with co-host Tom Bergeron.

Klum should have taken some pointers from the the belle of the Emmy ball, Tina Fey, who won 3 Emmys for her work on NBC's "30 Rock." Fey, the former lead writer of "Saturday Night Live," knows a thing or two about a good prat fall.
It all went wrong for Klum when the "Project Runway" star pretended to swoon during a skit. Bergeron initially caught her - but then let go.
Bergeron, who should know how to stay in synch with a partner - he hosts "Dancing with the Stars " - was caught backstage giddily showing off Klum's newly acquired black and blue mark.
Lucky for him, Klum's husband, singer Seal, was proudly watching the show from the audience of the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Ms. Klum's night didn't get any easier.
